Generative AI represents a brand-new way to create software utilities. Instead of writing code to retrieve pre-formatted structured data in databases, generative AI can quickly generate results using prompts (text-based instruction) to speed up development and create results quickly.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google Gemini are exciting tools. However, as someone who uses chatbots daily, I find it tedious and a chore to type the same prompt over and over repeatedly. A study (as of 2024/10) shows that most people only use ChatGPT occasionally. Perhaps they also find using ChatBots tedious. It is like a mortgage calculator; you can write a Python app to calculate it, customize an Excel worksheet with all the formulas, or hire a professional web developer to set up a custom webpage for repeated use. Most people just want to click a few buttons and get results.
That is why I developed this website: to provide a centralized location to host AI-powered mini utilities/applications and assist with everyday writing, brainstorming, research, or other tasks with just a few clicks.
In time, these utilities will evolve and grow into super helpful and valuable autonomous AI agents.
These utilities are now free to use. However, the world is moving fast, and the tools and APIs are not free or will stay free forever, and the costs will add up over time as more people use this website — a paid membership may be required to cover the expenses. However, I will try to keep the prices low and make them available as long as possible.
